砒素慢性中毒症は，皮革，レザー，壁紙商，ペイント製造所，殺虫剤の製造又は撒布を行う人々等に時々見受けられ，又古くは梅毒等の治療の目的で砒素剤を不注意に用いた事により起つた。今回，森永製MF印ドライミルクの中に，亜砒酸ソーダが混入した為，西日本を中心として，多数の乳幼児優性砒素中毒症を見るに到つた。
砒素中毒症の眼症状については，我が国に於ては未だ報告が見当らず，小松氏の実験的研究があるのみで，諸外国に於ても，その報告は少い。
Recently in our countries dry-milk witch contains the sodium arsenite had been sold, so that adults and many babys and children were poisoned.
In this paper, literatures regarding with eye manifestations of this poison are briefly review-ed, and eye symptoms of 5 adults who had been drunk this dry-milk over several mounths are reported.
One of them developed corneal ulcers and concentric constriction of visual field are observed in all of them.
