（22）砒素中毒患者に見られたる眼症状に就いて

The ocular symptom in Arsenic poisonig.

1．緒言

　本年6月より8月にかけて，主として関西地方に発生した粉乳による乳児の慢性砒素中毒事件は，医学史上空然の不祥事であつて，公衆衞生学的にも，育児指導上にも幾多の反省す可き問題を提供したが，当時我々は多数の慢性砒素中毒乳児の眼部を検診し，又不幸にして死亡した3症例の視器を剖検する機会を得たので茲に其の成績を報告して大方の大批判を仰ぎ度いと思う。

The ocular symptoms of 55 serious arsenic poisoning were studied.

1) Hypersecretion, epiphora, conjunctival hyperemia, edematous swelling of eye-lid and patholo-gic change of fundus were recognized relatively frequently.

2) As the finding of fundus, redness or pallor of papille and tessellated fundus were presented.

3) The change of papille were more marked and more frequent in the younger patients. It has some clode relation with the number of powder milk can but no correlation with the general symptom.
