（19）乳幼児トラコーマの研究（第2報）—急性に発病した結膜炎症に就て

A Study of Trachoma in New Born Infants. (II): A Study of Conjunctivitis that Takes Acute Type at the Outset

Ⅰ緒言

　著者等は国友教授指導の下に，第1報に於いて，東京都下K町の出生後間もない健康乳幼児102名を，1年6ヵ月間継続検診し，其の間に発生した結膜の炎衝性疾患の観察成績に就て述べた。即ちト罹患率約12％の農村に於いて，生後間もない健康乳幼児102名の中96名（94％）が，観察期間中に結膜炎に罹患し．2重感染を含めた罹患回数は，108回であつた。

　其の108回の感染例を急性発病型，亜急性発病型及び慢性発病型に分類すれば，夫々17例，76例及び15例であつた事は，第1報に述べた通りである。

In a farm-village where has 12% of contraction-rate of trachoma, the author investigated 102 cases of new-borns and continued examination for 18 months. In this term, 17 cases took acute conjunctivitis. The results of thorough observation on the cases are followings:

(1) The cases of acute form were 17 in 102 cases. They were ceratoconjunctivitis epidemica (11 cases), conjunctivitis inclusionalis (3 cases), trachoma acutum (2 cases), and blenorroea neonatorum (1 case).

(2) Differential diagnosis between inclusional conjunctivitis and acute trachoma is difficult for similar clinical views.
