諸種点眼薬の軟性コンタクトレンズ内へのとり込みと放出に関する研究—第1報縮瞳剤（塩酸ピロカルピン）の場合

The Study on the Uptake and Release of Various Drugs by the Soft Contact Lenses.: Report I. Pilocarpine

緒言

　Kaufman,H．E．らは，軟性コンタクトレンズ（以下SCLと略す）を点眼薬に併用することにより薬剤の効果が増し，かつ持続的効果のあることを報告し，ことにピロカルピンについては，各濃度のピロカルピンを用いてSCL装用眼にピロカルピン液を点眼しても有効ではあるが，SCLを点眼薬中に浸して用いると，低濃度でも，高濃度の点眼薬のみを点眼した場合よりもはるかに優れた降圧効果のあつたことを報告している。同様の成績はIDU，その他の点眼薬についても得られている。しかしなおわれわれが日常使用している点眼剤が，すべてピロカルピンと同じように作用するかどうかについては，くわしく調べた報告がない。著者らはこの点を解明するために，日常臨床に用いられる各種点眼薬がSCL内へどのように取り込まれるか，またどのように眼内へ放出されるかについて実験研究し，諸知見を得たので報告する。第1報では，ピロカルピンの効果について，薬剤の濃度，薬剤に対する処理方法，SCLの吸水率の種類を変えて検討を加えたので，その成績をここに報告したいと思う。

The amount and velocity of uptake and relea-se of Pilocarpine solution by soft contact lenses of varying water absorbability were investigat-ed with spectrophotometer. The higher is the concentration of Pilocarpine solution, the larger are uptake and release of it by soft lenses but rather their velocity are almost the same.

Highly water absorbable lenses have generally large uptake and rapid release of Pilocarpine. It is more favorable for the Pilocarpine effect to have the lens previously soaked in the solution than to instill the drop into the lens-worn eye.
