緒言

　黄斑裂孔の螢光像に関しては，従来より「裂孔に一致して均一の微細顆粒状の螢光をみる」という表現にて記載され，事実そのような形のものが多い^1）〜3）。しかし必ずしも一様ではなく，螢光のごくうすいもの，まだらなもの，あるいは螢光をまつたく欠くものなどがあることが指摘されている^4）〜6）。私たちは老人性自発裂孔および比較的若年の外傷性裂孔の螢光像を検討し，いかなる要素が黄斑裂孔の螢光像に影響するかを考察し，また問題となつている黄斑部のmacular dark spotに関しても一部ふれてみたい。

A total of 15 cases with hole in the macula have been examined by means of fluorescein fundus angiography. The cases consisted of 6 instances of spontaneous senile hole (4 cases of true type and 2 cases of lamellar type) and 9 instances of traumatic hole formation who hap-pened to be young subjects (7 cases of true type and 2 cases of lamellar type).

In cases with lamellar hole formation, the flu-orescent dye appeared either dimly or not at all in the hole area. The finding was apparently due to the filtering effect of the remaining re-tinal elements in the hole area.
