　1964年4月に京都府立医科大学眼科において色覚異常に関するspecial clinicを開設した。色覚異常を訴えて精密検査を希望するものを一般外来とは別に時間を定めて予約し，その時間に著者がassociateとして出向いて検査し，その後に種々の解説をした。

　1965年に1年間の経験を報告した。その後ほぼ同じ方針で運営して，5年が過ぎた。今年の7月で5年3カ月，500例に達したので，その報告をする。基本的には最初の1年間と大きな変化はない。5年間続けた結果，はじめの1年間の結果を再確認できたことになる。

In April 1964, a special clinic for color defi-ciency was set up in the Ophthalm. Dep. of Kyoto Pref. Univ. of Medicine. I should like to make a report in this dissertation on various experi-ence which the said clinic has undergone during the past five years.

During the period between April and Sep-tember the number of patients who visited the clinic for the purpose of receiving a close ex-amination was considerably high. However, the number dropped down in the months of Oc-tober, November and December. Then again, a sharp increase was observed from January through March every year.
