小口病様眼底の1例

A Case with Oguchi's Disease-like Fundus

解説

　小口病は1907年小口忠太の発表以来，我が国で今日まで百数十例の報告があるに反して，外国における報告は極めて稀で，殆んど本邦特有の疾患とされている。

　そして，本病の眼底図は，大西克知（1911）以来今日まで多々みられるが，いづれも小口病の真の姿を画き得ていない。近年，カメラ・フィルム・撮影技術の進歩と共に，学会では良い眼底写真スライドも散見されるが，さて雑誌掲載となると僅か佐藤—馬場（1960）の水尾現象前後の2枚をみるに過ぎなくて，しかも小口病特有の濃淡のある所見が乏しい単に黄色眼底としかみられず，満足すべきものとは思えない。

On February 7, 1964, the author examined a 6 year old boy with retinal detachment of the right eye and Oguchi's disease fundus abnormality in part of the left eye. As fairly good photographic reproduction of the fundus findings of the left eye was achieved, 2 shots have been selected for this presentation. These 2 shots do not show Mizuo's phenomenon. Fig. 1 was taken (luring the initial stage of fundus examination and shows the fundus to be of light yellow color. Fig. 2 shows the same site during the same observation and under the same condition, but after glittering increased and the fundus assumed a strong golden color.
