クロルフェニラミン製剤のポララミン復効錠をアレルギー性眼疾患に使用して見るべき効果をあげ，特にアレルギー性結膜炎，湿疹性眼瞼縁炎，眼瞼皮膚炎，フリクテン，虹彩炎，鞏膜炎等に有効で，特殊な例として壮年性反覆性網膜硝子体出血の患者で出血間隔の延長に成功した1例を得た。
A new antihistamic drug d-chlorphenirami-ne maleate (polarmine) was applied to the various allergic eye diseases. In this paperthe auther pointed out, as the effective indic-ations of it, allergic conjunctivitis, palperbral dermatis, eczematous blepharitis, phlyctaen-e, iritis, scleritis etc. In a case of repeated retinal and vitreous haemorrhage, though a specific one, it was found that the freque-ncy of haemorrhage was decreased after pol-aramine administrations.
It is interesting that it was proved that recurrent retinal and vitreous haemorrhage was a allergic eye disease.
