結核性眼疾患に対するSertinon （1314 TH）療法

Sertinon (1314 TH) therapy on the tuberculous diseases of the eye

　1314 TH （Alpha-Ethyl-Thioisonicotinam—ide）は1956年Liebmann等により合成された新しい抗結核剤である。

　in vitroでは人型結核菌に対しINHのほぼ1／10,SMと同程度の抗菌力をもつているがinvivoではSMのほぼ2倍，INHの1／10の効果を示すという。特にINH,SM,PAS等に耐性の結核菌にも感性菌とほぼ同様の抗菌力を示すことが特徴とされ，これまで主に内科，外科方面で用いられてすぐれた効果があげられている。

The results of the combined treatment with Sertinon (1314 TH) and Ericon (Sulfisomis-in) on 31 cases with tuberculous diseases of the eye were summarized as follows.

1) 4 cases of phlyctenule were rapidly cured without replapse.

2) Out of 3 cases of scleritis, 2 cases were treated effectively without any side effect. One case was stopped the administra-tion by the side reaction.

3) Out of 4 cases of iridocyclitis. 3 cases responded well to the therapy. The remaini-ng one case healed with the combined thera-py of Sertinon-Ericon and KM.

4) 10 cases of chorioretinitis were treated.
