　1．老人性白内障殊に初発性白内障に対するパロチンの効果は見るべきものがあり，経過観察期間1年以上4年5ケ月に及ぶ全症例37例中34例に白内障進行阻止の効果があり，その内の3分の1に視力の増進を認めている。　2．パロチン3mgを最初週2回上博に20本筋注し，次いで週1回20本，合計40本を最小必要量とし，その後　月1回の割に追加注射する。　3．パロチン注射は40〜50本で大体充分で，以．降はカタリン或はシネラリヤ点眼に切り換える。　4．パロチン注射にはさしたる副作用は認められない。

The author observed upon clinical examination of 37 patients of senile cataract under treatment with parotin from 1 to 4.5 years. In 34 patients, which had almost cataracta senilis incipiens, cataract did not progress. Among 34 patients, 11 cases have their visual acuities better than before treatment. Parotin solution was injected intramuscularly in an amount of about 3 mg, 2 times a week until 20 times, and then at one time a week until 20 times, and when necessary, this was continued for once a month. The following results appeared : Reddening, Swelling and Pain in the area of injection were encountered.
