　第1眼位が正位または斜視で，上方視または下方視に際して，斜視角が増加するものを，AまたはV Syndromeと呼ぶのは，比較的耳新らしいことであるが，その手術療法として，Fink,Mi—llerなどによつて始められた。垂直直筋の側方移植を行つて軽快をみた1例を経験したので報告する。

A case of vertically incomitant divergent strabismus, aggravated in upward gaze, so-called V syndrome was reported. Miller's op-ecation, nasal transplantation of the insertions of bilateral superior recti, was performed and satisfactory result was obtained.

On the pathogenesis of this case, unbalance between the secondary-adducting and abdu-cting-actions of the two elevators, superior rectus and inferior oblique, may be conside-red as the chief etiologic factor.
