　私共は，飛来せる木棒で左眼球の外上方を叩打し，中心窩を外れて黄斑部嚢胞を生じた黄斑孔形成の不全となった症例に遭遇し，細隙燈観察を行つた。此の様な症例は極めて稀なので報告したいと思う。

Rare case aged 13 years boy showing extramacular retinal cystic degeneration due to a contusion was presented. Traumatic edematous cyst locating the periphery of the foveal ring reflex altered to a retinal atrophic focus showing no macular perforation. Visual acuity recovered to 20/20 two months after the injury. The slitlamp microscopic observation was described with some illustrations. Mechanism of this rare cyst develop-ment was discussed.
