糖尿病に於ける網膜症，高血圧及び蛋白尿と2,3の腎生検組織所見について

Retinopathy, hypertention and proteinuria in diabetic patients and significance of their renal biopsy findings

　最近糖尿病が成人病の一環として，特に血管障害の面から多くの話題が提供され関心を集めている。著者はかかる観点から，糖尿病に於ける主要合併症として，臨床的に，糖尿病性網膜症（以下単に網膜症と略）高血圧及び蛋白尿を中心としてこれらの相互関係を検討し，更に高血圧及び蛋白尿を主とせる糖尿病の病態分類を試み，この病態と網膜症との関係並に症例中より得た2,3の腎生検組織所見について述べたい。

In 195 patients with diabetes mellitus, the correlation between the retinopathy, hyper-tension and proteinuria as the mainly vascular lesions was investigated and renal biopsy were carried out in several patients with retinopathy, hypertension and proteinuria. The results were as follows.

1) The incidence of diabetic retinopathy, hypertension and proteinuria in diabetic pa-tients was 32, 42 and 35 per cent respectively.

2) The percentage of hypertension or proteinuria in patients with diabetic retinopathy was 75 per cent and in non retinopathy 45 per cent.
