Causal Mechanism of Emmetropia, Low Myopia and Low Hypermetropia due to the Adaptation of the Lens and the Ciliary Muscle.

　私の今回の話には特に今迄私が行つた実驗の他に新しい知見が有るわけではない。討論を比較的深く行えた（私はもつと徹底的に行いたかつた）点に意味があるのである，此の討論を理解して頂ける様筋道のみ記載した。詳細は私の眼科全書，或は簡単には昭和28年11月号の本誌627〜632頁に記載してある。

He has written an abstract for the recent symposium. Details will be found in the Treaty of Japanese Ophthalmology vol.9, 1953, written by the author himself. A summary was published in the Yokohama Medical Bulletin vol.2, No.1, p.41-67,1951, so please refer to them.He refered to the principal points that were put into question in this symposium and he gave his answer.

There are many people who believe that the fact that the size of the tonus and the organic changes is generally great in hypermetropia and small in myopia, denies the au-thor's theory.
