要約　目的：1か月間のwashout後に点眼整理を行い，その効果を検討した。対象と方法：緑内障点眼をしている28例28眼（平均72.1±13.3歳）を対象とした。1か月間のwashout期間を設け，washout後の眼圧をベースライン眼圧とした。ベースライン眼圧に応じて点眼薬を整理した。点眼整理前後の眼圧，点眼薬数，点眼回数，眼圧下降率につき比較検討した。結果：ベースライン眼圧は16.6±4.3mmHgであった。点眼整理前後で平均眼圧は14.5±3.2mmHgから13.1±3.4mmHgに下降し（p＜0.05），平均点眼薬数は1.7±0.8本から0.8±0.4本に減少し（p＜0.01），平均点眼回数は2.4±1.8回から0.8±0.4回に減少した（p＜0.01）。平均眼圧下降率も8.9％から19.6％に改善した。結論：Washoutを併用した点眼整理は，眼圧の上昇をきたすことなく点眼薬数の減少を望める効果的な方法と考えられた。

Abstract.　Purpose：To evaluate whether the number of instillations can be suitability in eyes with glaucoma. Case and Method：The series comprised 28 glaucoma patients. The age ranged from 29 to 87 years, average 72 years. We had a rethink on treatments after 1-month washout period. Patients were received instillation as the need arises. Intraocular pressure（IOP）was measured before and after washout period. The number of instillations and drops used were investigated. Result：Baseline IOP averaged 16.6±4.3 mmHg. IOP averaged 14.5±3.2 mmHg before washout, 13.1±3.4 mmHg after washout. The number of instillations and drops significantly decreased from value before rethinking（p＜0.01）. Rate of IOP decrease significantly increased from value before rethinking（p＜0.05）. Conclusion：The washout for reduction of the number of instillations was effective in reducing the number of instillations.
