要約 目的：動力ワイヤーブラシによる眼外傷3例の報告。症例：いずれも男性で，年齢は30歳，55歳，67歳である。3症例とも作業中に受傷し，破損したワイヤーが角膜を穿孔していた。2例ではワイヤーが虹彩と水晶体を貫通し，硝子体腔に至っていた。他の1例では患者がワイヤーを自己抜去し，外傷性白内障が生じていた。3症例に異物摘出と白内障手術などを行い，良好な最終視力を得た。経過：今回の3症例はいずれも良好な経過をとった。受傷を予防するために，動力ワイヤーブラシを使用するときは，防護眼鏡を装用するなどの対策をとる必要がある。
Abstract. Purpose：To report three cases of ocular injury while using a rotating wire brush machine. Cases and Findings：All were males aged 30,55 and 67 years respectively. Injury occurred while engaged in work. Torn piece of wire brush perforated the cornea in all cases. The wire reached the vitreous after perforating the cornea and lens in 2 cases. In the third case,the patient showed traumatic cataract after the wire was removed by himself. All the 3 cases were treated by removal of foreign body and cataract surgery resulting in full final visual acuity. Conclusion：Injury by rotating wire brush machine may induce ocular trauma. Prevention is necessary by wearing protective goggles.
