　類表皮腫のproton MR spectroscopy（MRS）所見をMRI所見と併せて報告した。装置は，Philips社製Gyroscan ACS—Ⅱ（1.5T）を使用した。Proton MRSは，Proton Regional Imaging of Metabolites（RIME）法にてTR／TE／加算回数＝2,000ms／136・272ms／128回の条件で取得した。MRIでは，境界は明瞭なT2強調画像で高信号，T1強調画像にて低信号を呈し，Gd-DTPAよる増強効果は認められなかった。Proton MRSでは，Lac—tateの大きなピークが認められた。N-acetylaspartate, Creatine／PhosphocreatineおよびCholine-containing compoundsピークはnoise levelであった。類表皮腫に対して，Proton MRSを施行することにより，画像情報に加えて生化学的な情報がもたらされた。

We report a case of epidermoid, in which proton MR spectroscopy (MRS) provided additional informa-tion to MRI. The tumor revealed high signal intensity on T 2-weighted images (WI) and low signal intensity on T 1 WI. No enhancement was observed. Proton MRS was acquired with the Proton Regional Imaging of Metabolites (PRIME) method (TR/TE/measure-ments =2,000 ms/136,272 ms/128 times). Proton MRS revealed lactate (Lac) peak at 1.33 ppm as negative peak at TE 136 ms and positive peak at TE 272 ms.
