I．はじめに
原発性視床腫瘍は比較的稀なもので，脳腫瘍の約1％にみられるといわれており，その症状は特異なものを示さず，また位置的に深部であるためその局在診断も困難なことが多い。
われわれは最近両側性視床腫瘍の1例を経験したので臨床経過，剖検所児について述べるとともに，その症状ならびに診断について二，三の考察を加え報告する。
A case of bilateral tumor of the thalamus which was astrocytoma was reported and discussed its clinical symptoms, diagnosis and anatomical picture.
The following things were noticed; raised intra-cranial pressure is the commonest symptom, so-called thalamic syndrom is not always recognined, psychiatricdisorder is likely to appear in bilateral tumor, ataxia and tremor must be differentiated from other diseases and pneumoventriculography is useful in diagnosis.
It is considered that this bilateral tumor was grown at the each side independently.
