緒言

　Chlordiazepoxideの臨床に対する効果が種々検討された中で，その特異作用として馴化作用の他，特に抗てんかん作用のあることが，最近Kairm S．C, Rosenstein I．N^1）らにより報告され，すでにわが国においても田椽^2）らがその面での追試をなしているが，その脳波像への影響については，異常脳波の異常度が減じ，速波の増加を示し，かつ賦活閾値の上昇をみるという報告がある程度で，さらに詳細な検討を加えた報告はみないようである。著者ら^4）は，第1編において，てんかんに対してChlordiazepoxide投与により得た臨床的治験について報告したが，その際，臨床脳波像への影響について2〜3の特徴ある所見をみいだしたので，今回は，臨床像の変化と相まつて，かかる点を中心にまとめ，第2編として報告する。

1) We medicated Chlordiazepoxide for out-patients and inpatients of epilepsy, and researched about the effect to clinical brain wave pattern of this medicine.

2) This inclusive view is next four points:

(1) Regularization of foundamental rhythmic pattern.

(2) Element of slow wave moves to α wave.

(3) Supression of the paroxysmal dysrhythmic pattern.

(4) Mainly, appearance of β wave in the fron-tal and central area.

3) Electroencephalograms were reformed in parallel with the clinical condition, but we pointed out about the connection of both that had still more many problemes, and at the same time, we explained a little opinion about the increasing of convulsion threshold value and the appearance of fast wave.
