緒言

　Fetal cell adenomaは脳下垂体嫌色性腫瘍の一異型として，Kraus^8）が肺結核患者の剖検例に発見報告して以来，極めて稀な疾患とされている。即ち本腫瘍はその実質細胞の形態，排列が胎生初期の脳下乗体前葉細胞と極めて類似し，それ故にFetal cell adenoma, Fötales Adenomと名付けられたものである。我々は陣内外科教室に於て，本腫瘍の定型的と思われる2例及び色素嫌性細胞腺腫と本腫膓との中間型乃至は混合型と思われる1例を経験したのでここにそれらの臨床所見並びに病理組織学的所見について報告する。

Two cases of typical pituitary fetal cell adenomas and one case of the tumor mixed with chromophobic adenoma were found amo-ng twenty cases of pituitary adenoma opera-ted in the Neurosurgical Department of Okayama University Medical School.

Case 1, 2 and 3 are 37 year-old and 34 year-old women, and 24 year-old man, respectively, and all these cases exhibited typical sympto-ms of pituitary chromophobic adenoma. The tumors were successfully removed, and histo-logic examinations revealed that the case 1 and 2 were typical fetal cell adenomas chara-cterized by high cylindric or fusiform cells arranged in band like interlacing strands, and that the case 3 was the mixed type of chro-mophobic and fetal cell adenomas.
