　腦下垂體の惡性腺腫（又は癌腫）は極めて稀な疾患とされ，338例の腦下垂體腺腫を經驗したCushingすらも，そのうちに11例の腺癌を計上するに過ぎず，剖檢を經たものは僅かに1例である，（Henderson^1））。最近Baley-Cutler^2）は3例を報告し，過去の文献に就いて批判を與えた。吾が國では今日までに2例の剖檢例（高泉^3）國本^4））がある。此處に報告せんとする症例は，はじめ尿崩症を呈したために頭蓋咽喉腫と診斷され，牛の腦下垂體移植が試みられたが，一過性の著効を見た點に興味がある。

　On a case of malign na adenoma of the pituitary gland, clinical symptoms and postmortem findings were reported. There was clinically diabetes insipidus as an initial sign of the disease, with a remarkable effect of the pituitary transplantation. Concerning variabilities and pleomorphism of the pituitary adenoma, Costero's idea was discussed. Extreme low frequency of the malignant adneoma on the literature will partially depend upon the condition, i. e. autopsy of the terminal stage of benign adenomata is rarely met with, especially when the patient presents a long duration of illness at home.
