　抄録　皮膚寄生虫妄想の文献例100例の現象学的分析と著者の治療法によって得られた知見をもとに，本疾患の病理・病因について検討した。①発症年齢は16〜84歳。平均年齢は57歳。男女比は2対3。「虫」の大きさはmm単位以下で，色は白または黒が多い。大きな動物の出現する場合は幻覚と思われ，その原因は粗大な脳器質疾患が考えられる。「虫」が体内にいると訴える場合は，主として分裂病その他の精神病が推定される。②本疾患の主病変は感覚中枢における機能構造的変化であり，これが触・視覚系の生理的錯覚を病的錯覚に至らしめたものと考えられる。③感覚中枢が制御不全となって病的安定構造が形成されたとき，自己修復が困難となり，その結果として，病的錯覚が堅固に持続することになったものと思われる。④制御不全の原因は，感覚中枢に対し機能構造的に影響を及ぼす疾患，とりわけ脳器質疾患が重要視されるが，組織破壊を来す疾患は本症を発現しないものと思われる。

　This clinical study is a report of 100 cases of delusions of parasitosis reviewed and randomly selected from various types of literature, including two cases of my own. Its symptomatology has been examined and the mechanism of etiological pathogenesis has been introduced hypothetically in accord with the findings obtained during the treatment devised by the author. The findings obtained were as follows:

　(1) The age range of the patient was from 16 to 84 years, but the peak incidences were between the ages of 50 and 60, and the median age at the onset of the disease was 57. According to case reports, delusion of parasitosis was 2~3 times as frequent in females as in males.
