【抄録】 パレイドリアとは，Jaspersによって錯覚の一型として定義された知覚異常体験で，情動や注意の集中とは関係なく，不明瞭な知覚対象を明瞭な形のものに誤って認識する体験である。この体験はその語源から暗黙のうちに「視覚」の錯覚体験ととらえられてきたと考えられる。しかし，実際には聴覚において認められるパレイドリアも稀ならず存在していると思われ，特に分裂病にみられる同現象に関する具体的な症例報告は従来ほとんどなされず，その精神病理学的位置づけの議論は看過されてきた。
本稿ではいわゆる「聴覚性パレイドリア」を病的体験として認めた3症例を呈示し，精神分裂病におけるパレイドリアの成立について考察し，その精神病理学的位置付けについて検討した。
We reported three cases of schizophrenia with “auditory” pareidolia. The term “pareidolia” is defined as one of three types of illusion by K. Jaspers. It has no relation to one's emotions and attention span. Pareidolia has been regarded as being limited to optical illusion, and “auditory” pareidolia is rarely mentioned in clinical courses.
We discuss the psychopathological background of “auditory” pareidolia in schizophrenia.
We suggested that “auditory” pareidolia should be more carefully diagnosed, distinguishing it from auditory hallucination.
