　本研究は，精神療養病棟看護師(PRNs)の職業性ストレスの構造を確認することを目的とした。調査材料には，精神科看護師職業性ストレッサー尺度と職業性ストレス簡易調査票のストレス反応尺度を用いて，PRNs 60名を解析の対象とした。その結果，「精神科看護の能力」に関する職業性ストレッサーは，「活気」と「抑うつ」のストレス反応にそれぞれ関連し，「患者の態度」に関する職業性ストレッサーは，「不安」と「身体愁訴」のストレス反応に関連していた。その背景には，PRNsは，ケアと患者の社会復帰という目標に明確な結びつきを感じにくく，患者が社会復帰へ気持ちを向けてくれないという思いがあると考えられた。

　The aim of this study was to explore job-related stressors on stress reactions in psychiatric recuperation ward nurses (PRNs). PRNs commonly experience difficulties in helping discharged patients manage their lives and tend to discount their personal accomplishments. Sixty PRNs responded to the Psychiatric Nurse Job Stressor Scale and the Stress Reaction Scale in the Brief Job Stress Questionnaire. The psychiatric nursing ability subscale showed a significant positive relationship with the vigor and depressed mood subscales. In addition, the attitude of patients subscale showed a significant positive relationship with the anxiety and somatic symptoms subscale. Thus, the present results suggest that the ability of PRNs to manage patients' lives is not directly associated with the goal of rehabilitation or the likelihood that patients will adequately reintegrate into the community.
