　特発性肺動脈拡張症は，他の心肺疾患を伴わずに肺動脈主幹部の拡張を示す良性の先天性血管奇型と考えられ，極めて稀な疾患である。最近我々は本症と診断した1症例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加え，報告する。

A case of 7-year-old boy with idiopathic dilatation of the pulmonary artery was reported. He was pointed out heart murmur at 6 months of age, but he had no cardiac symptom, until he was admitted to ourhospital in octorber 1981). Definitive diagnosis was made by cardiac catheterization and angiography. Their's findings were as follows, marked dilatation of the pulmonary thrunk, normal pressures of PA and RV and absence of abnormal shunts. Finally, we emphasize a long follow-up of this disease, be-cause it has a possibility of complicating pulmonary regurgitation.
