Abstract 文献概要

　各種心疾患の血行動態を考察する上で，血流は心内圧や容積などとともに，きわめて重要な要素である。これまでに，臨床で用いられてきた血流についての情報は，Fick法をはじめとして，温度変化やRIを利用して行われる心拍出量の測定がその中心であった。しかしながら，これらの方法論は定常流の考えに立った平均的表現にすぎず，したがって，生体の本来の状態である拍動流から得られる情報に比べれば，きわめて粗雑であるといえよう。それゆえ，心血管系の特性を，より詳細に明らかにする上で，臨床的に大血管のinstantaneousな拍動流を得ることは重要と思われる。ここでは，このような目的のたあに開発されたカテーテル先端流速プローブを用い，小児期心疾患の大動脈および肺動脈の拍動流を計測し，用いたプローブの信頼性と，血行動態分析に若干の検討を加えたので報告する。

Instantaneous pulsatile blood flow velocities within pulmonary artery and ascending aorta were obtained by means of a catheter-tip electro-magnetic velocity probe in thirteen children with congenital heart disease and six normal children.

The probe was calibrated in blood using steady-flow pump and it was shown that the linearity of the output of the probe was excellent under various circumstances but the magnitude of the output was slightly influenced by different hematocrit values.
