1) 151 caser of silicosis were measred by vital capacity, maximum breathing capacity, timed vital capacity, oxygen diffusing capacity, ar—terial blood oxygen saturation.
2) Categoly 1 of simple silicosis are almost normal in pulmonary function tests, Categoly 2 and Categoly 3 have decreased lung volume and impaired ventilatory funtion. Some of the Categoly 3 have decrased arterial oxygen saturation.
3) The disability of silicosis could not be deter—mined by single test.
4) The normal limit adopted in Kyushu Ladour Accident Hospital were illustrated.
