A Study on Rehabilitation of Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients on the Basis of Ventilation Index

　Due to the recent great advances in che—motherapeutic and surgical management　of pulmonary tuberculosis, patients have　come to escape the fear of death, and　expect more normal social, economic, and　professional lives.

　Physical handicaps of patients with pul—monary tuberculosis result from the cli—nical instability of the disease as well as　from diminution of their working capacity.　Therefore the aim in treatment of pul—monary tuberculosis is to minimize the　reduction in cardiopulmonry function.
