はじめに
胃の好酸球性肉芽腫は1937年Kaijserにより初めて報告されているが，欧米での報告も数少なく本邦では中馬らの報告を第1例として，1969年までにわずか16例の報告がみられるにすぎない．筆者らは最近，胃の比較的大きな好酸球性肉芽腫の1例を経験したので報告する．
An office girl, 20 years of age, visited the authors’ hospital with chief complaints of severe anemia and dull epigastric pain. G-I x-ray series revealed a hen-egg-sized polypoid lesion at the gastric angle a little posteriorly.
Gastrofiberscopic examination showed a samesizecl, whitish mass of smooth surface with a large ulceration on its top, which seemed to be an intramural tumor of the stomach.
No increase of eosinophilic leucocytes was recognized in the peripheral blood. At surgery a 4.4×4.0×4.5cm polypoid mass with an ulceration was seen at the gastric angle of the partially resected stomach.
Histologically the mass wholely consisted of loose connective tissues with diffuse infiltration of eosinophilic leucocytes, and whirl-like proliferations of the connective tissues were recognized here and there surrounding small vessels.
Judging from the histological characteristics the authors arrived at the diagnosis of eosinophilic granuloma of the stomach.
