脂腺母斑上に生じた毛芽腫

A case of trichoblastoma arising on sebaceous nevus

Abstract A 10-year-old girl referred to our department for the treatment of a 20 mm × 6 mm linear orange plaque on her right cheek, which was present since birth. An excisional biopsy was performed, and histopathological examination revealed sebaceous nevus with a basaloid tumor. A diagnosis of trichoblastoma was made from the presence of intralegional CK20 positive cells. It is relatively rare that secondary tumor arising from sebaceous nevus of the patients younger than 20 years old.
