切除後に再増大を来たした前額部筋周皮腫の1例

A Case of Reexpansion of Myopericytoma of the Forehead After Resection

はじめに

　筋周皮腫（myopericytoma）は，1998年にGranterら 1）によって最初の報告が行われた比較的新しい疾患概念である。成人の四肢遠位の皮下に好発する良性腫瘍とされており，形態学的に，筋線維腫，グロムス腫瘍，血管平滑筋腫と類似するとされているが，皮膚以外の発生や悪性所見を呈する症例の報告もある。今回，18歳男性の前額部の皮下に発生し，初回切除時に残存した腫瘍が再増大を来たした症例を経験した。本疾患に遭遇した際には完全切除の必要性があると考え，注意喚起が必要であると考えたため報告する。

　Myopericytoma is a relatively new disease concept, first reported by Granter et al in 1998. It is described as a benign tumour with a predilection for the subcutis of the distal extremities in adults and is morphologically similar to myofibromas, glomus tumours and vascular leiomyomas, although there have been reports of cases with a non-cutaneous origin and malignant findings. In the present case, we experienced a case in which the tumor occurred subcutaneously in the forehead area of an 18-year-old male and remained at the time of initial resection, resulting in re-growth of the tumor.We report this case because we believe that complete resection is necessary when encountering this disease and that it is necessary to alert the patient to the need for such resection.
