頸部に穿破した縦隔奇形腫の1例

A case of mediastinal teratoma rupturing into anterior neck

症例は10代，男性。前頸部の腫脹を自覚，緩徐に増大したため前医を受診した。腫瘍性病変が疑われ，精査加療目的に当院紹介となった。

We report a case of mediastinal teratoma rupturing into the anterior neck. A teenage boy presented with progressively enlarging anterior neck swelling over several months. MRI revealed a 5-cm cystic mass in the anterior neck contiguous with a 3-cm mass in the superior mediastinum. Both lesions were well defined and predominantly cystic, and chemical shift imaging suggested the presence of internal fat components. The patient underwent surgical resection of the tumor. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of mediastinal teratoma and demonstrated inflammatory changes associated with rupture of the tumor wall.
