In recent years, the glymphatic system has been elucidated as a lymphatic flow in the central nervous system, which was previously thought not to exist, and lymphomas occurring in the central nervous system have attracted further interest. Lymphomas in the central nervous system can arise from the parenchyma or meninges, and can appear as solitary or multiple lesions. Therefore, it is necessary to distinguish whether the tumor is primary in the central nervous system or metastasis from other organs throughout the body. Diagnostic imaging also plays a role by examining the entire body. In this article, we will explain primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, immunodeficiency-associated central nervous system lymphoma, and intravascular lymphoma, and also mention lymphomatoid granulomatosis.
