急性健忘にて発症した両側脳弓柱梗塞の1例

A case of a sudden onset infarction of bilateral columns of the fornix with anterograde amnesia and confusion

脳弓は学習や記憶と密接に関係するPapez回路の構成要素であり，脳弓梗塞は健忘症状で発症する。画像診断では両側脳弓に異常信号が生じることが多く本症に特徴的と考えられている^1）。錯乱と前向性健忘にて発症した両側脳弓柱梗塞を経験したため，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

We reported a sudden onset infarction of bilateral columns of the fornix（cfx）with anterograde amnesia and confusion. The fornix is one of the components of Papez circuit, which is closely related to learning and memory. The infarction of the cfx develops with sudden amnesia. On MR imaging, abnormal signals in the bilateral cfx are often characteristic of this disease. When amnesia develops suddenly, it is important to focus on the cfx on MR images. When diffusion-weighted images showed high signals in the bilateral cfx, a possibility of cfx infarction is high.
