好酸球性膀胱炎は膀胱壁の肥厚を呈するまれな疾患であり，膀胱癌との鑑別が問題となるが，画像診断に関する報告は少ない。好酸球性膀胱炎の1例についてMRI所見と病理所見との比較を中心に報告する。

We report a case of eosinophilic cystitis. A 60-year-old women presented with hematuria and abdominal pain on the right. Blood tests showed eosinophilia. Computed tomography and MR imaging showed a thickened right lateral and posterior bladder wall and right hydronephrosis and hydroureter. Cystoscopy revealed a non-papillary broad mass lesion in the bladder. The bladder biopsy specimen showed diffuse infiltration of eosinophils extending from epithelium to muscularis propria associated with submucosal edema；histopathological diagnosis was eosinophilic cystitis. We correlated the findings of eosinophilic cystitis on MR imaging and histopathology. The MR imaging findings can help to differentiate eosinophilic cystitis from bladder malignancy.
