Experiences of repeat stereotactic radiosurgery or radiotherapy(SRS/SRT)for repeated relapse of brain metastases(BMs)were reported. Twenty-two patients received three or more courses of SRS/SRT. Median follow-up time was 18 months. The 5-year overall survival rate(OS)for all patients was 56%. Duration of repeat SRS/SRT was 3-77 months(median, 15 months). The 3-year OS was 88% when intervals between 1st and 2nd SRS/SRT were≥6 months, while it was 0% when intervals were<6 months(p=0.0023). OS and frequency of salvage SRS/SRT seemed to be predictable by intervals between 1st and 2nd SRS/SRT.
