脊椎手術における合併症の一つとして，術後の硬膜外血腫による麻痺があげられる．胸椎後縦靱帯骨化症（OPLL）に対する後方除圧固定術を施行後に硬膜外血腫を生じ，2回の血腫除去術を必要とした症例を経験したので報告する．
