2019年に改訂された本邦のガイドラインで，治療決定のためのプロセス図が公表され，左側RAS/BRAF野生型では抗EGFR抗体，右側RAS/BRAF野生型ではbevacizumabが転移進行再発大腸癌の一次治療の第一選択となることが記載された．これをもとに実臨床においては，有害事象のプロファイルの違い，スケジュールや投与経路，患者・家族の意向をふまえ，より総合的な意思決定が必要である．
