Objective: This study explored nurses' need for stress reduction web applications, with the aim of developing a web application.

Methods: A total of 12 nurses, aged 20 years or older, who were working as full-time staff nurses participated in a focus group discussion. Audio transcriptions were made from the data and analyzed by text mining using KH Coder.

Results: The results of the co-occurrence network revealed that the words "myself," "open," and "watch" were the most frequently occurring. The hierarchical cluster analysis classified them into seven clusters. The results of the two analyses identified the following seven categories: concentration and reduction, physical exercise, use of the application, touch the application every day, open the application every day, I can see the changes from using the application, and rewards to continue using the application.

Conclusion: The study results identified key elements that should be considered in developing a stress reduction web application, according to nurses' needs. In the future, it is necessary to develop a web application that meets the needs of nurses and to examine the feasibility and effectiveness of the web application.
