In order to improve the quality of rehabilitation that is useful for patients to acquire the practical activities of daily living (ADL) skills, we developed and introduced the original pass way for convalescent care units. To judge the effectiveness of our trial, we surveyed whether or not therapists could use convalescent care units as the place of ADL exercise and where they could always exchange the patient's information with nurses via ADL exercises at convalescent care units. Results of the survey suggest that therapists changed, with regard to care units as the place of ADL exercise, to places where there were more opportunities to exchange patients' information with nurses. This time, we report on details and the content that makes the original pass way.
