要旨:16歳の独歩が可能な軽度痙直型両麻痺男児2例に対して,同年代の女性との交流活動の拡大を目標に,作業療法の支援手段として電子メールを用いたアプローチを行い効果が得られた.作業療法アプローチとして,症例に適したEメール操作マニュアルの作成や文章作成の支援が有効であった.症例の訓練経過および脳性麻痺児における電子メールの有効性について報告する.
Acquiring the ability to use electronic mail for two 16-year-old children with mild spastic diplegia was studied. As a result, several effective strategies were found : (1) advising children on how to set up the software ; (2) preparing an adequate operational manual for each child ; (3) instructing them on how to develop a good composition ; and, (4) consulting with other professional staff members. The purpose of this report is to introduce the process of intervention, consider the factors necessary to acquire the ability to browse on the Internet, and to present the clinical effects of electronic mail communication for children with cerebral palsy.
