We performed Uchida-Kraepelin psychodiagnostic test (version of Yokota in 1973) for 31 shizophrenic (hebephrenic type) patients (shizophrenic group) who had been in open ward, compared to 28 normal adult volunteers (control group). Regarding the score of range and new line exertion were compared with the percentage to mean work quantity, and the score of faults were compared with the percentage to total work quantity, because of quantitative analysis. There were significant difference of mean work quantity, time-out efficiency, range and faults between the shizophrenic group and the control group. Regarding the mean work quantity and the time-out efficiency, the shizophrenic group showed significantly low in comparison with the control group (p<0.01). Meanwhile the range and the faults of shizophrenic group were higher than the control group (p<0.01, p<0.05). However in the new line exertion there were no significant difference between the both groups.
