VISIPORT®を用いた内視鏡下甲状腺手術

Laparoscopic surgery using VISIPORT® for thyroid tumor

　巨大甲状腺腫瘍に対してVISIPORT^®を用いた内視鏡下手術を施行した．患者は33歳，女性．右前頸部に5cm大の腫瘤を認め，検査の結果，良性腫瘍と診断し，内視鏡下に手術を施行した．両側乳輪上縁および右前胸部からVISIPORT^®を用いて安全かつ確実に皮下トンネルを作製した．ポートを挿入したのち，超音波凝固切開装置および剥離鉗子を用いて腫瘍を摘出した．術中・術後の合併症は認めず，術後経過は良好であった．手術創も目立たず，患者の満足度も高かった．

A 33-year-old female underwent endoscopic resection of a benign thyroid tumor which was 5cm in diameter. VISIPORT^® was used to produce subcutaneous tunnels through the incisions at the upper border of bilateral areola and right anterior chest wall, AUTOSONIC^® was used for resection of the tumor. Postoperative hospital stay was 5 days and there was no complications. The wounds were small and unnoticeable with satisfactory result for the patient. VISIPORT^® was a safe and effective device for subcutaneous tunnels in endoscopic thyroidectomy.
