マイクロナノロボティクスを用いた低侵襲医療

Micro/ Nano Robotics toward Future Minimally Invasive Therapy

　欧米の流れとは違い，バイオメディカルツールのための新原理メカトロニクスを開発し，それを基盤とした独創的な医療ツール群を開発研究する独自のアプローチをとってきたわれわれの研究テーマを中心に，ミニチュア，マイクロ，ナノスケールでの低侵襲治療ツールの最新成果を紹介する．なかでも，深部臓器のマイクロサージェリーや，脳血管内での治療を目的とした安全性の高い水圧能動カテーテル，光駆動型ナノピンセット，内視鏡挿入訓練用力覚付きバーチャル内視鏡などは，医学，工学の両面に新風を吹きこみつつある．

Various kinds of new technology on micro machine and micro robotics has been developed by author's labo-ratory for these ten years. Unlike conventional industrial based technology, new needs form medicine produce a lot of new concept based micro system and robotics. On this account, micro stereolithograpy, new robotic tools I for minimally invasive surgery have been developed. Moreover, biochemical IC chips are proposed and several types of prototype chips have been fabricated successfully. These advanced technology will bring solid basis of future medicine.
