It is no exaggeration when we make the statement that robotics surgery is technology that is already in wide-spread use. It is not necessary to model the robot on the surgeon's procedure. The aim of robotic surgery is to ablate accurately the target lesion under any environment. Use of the manipulator as an advanced hand for sur-geons and accurate computer aided manipulation (CAM) based on computer aided design (CAD), is becoming an established surgical technique at the micron level.
