◆要旨：目的●安価かつ持ち運び可能な内視鏡下手術トレーニングシステムを考案したので紹介する．方法●Windows XPをOS（operating system）として搭載したNote PC（personal computer）とUSB 2.0（universal serial bus 2.0）接続のWebカメラを使用し，その他，段ボール箱，内視鏡下手術用の持針器や鉗子類を用いた．結果●15インチXGA（eXtended Graphics Array : 1024×768ピクセル）の画面全体にVGA（Video Graphics Array : 640×480ピクセル）を引き伸ばすものの良好な画像が得られ，30 fps（frame per second：1秒間に表示する画像のフレーム数）の画像表示が可能であり，この内視鏡下手術トレーニングシステムは練習の一助となるものと思われた．結論●このシステムは，臨床研修医や経験の浅い内視鏡外科医にとって，簡便でより身近な内視鏡下手術練習装置である．

　We developed a portable and economical endoscopic surgery training system. In this system, a notebook PC running under Windows XP, a web camera connected via USB 2.0, a cardboard box, a needle-holder for endoscopic surgery, and forceps were used. Images were displayed at 30 frames/sec on a 15-inch XGA screen（1024×768 pixels, enlargement of VGA）, which was sufficient for practice of endoscopic surgery. This system is useful to practice the endoscopic surgery, especiall for intern doctors and inexperienced surgeons.
