注射剤や内服剤の簡易懸濁液は，医療材料と相互作用が生じる可能性がある。相互作用により，もともとのバイオアベイラビリティ（生物学的利用能）と薬理作用が減弱あるいは増強し，薬物動態が変化する。本コラムは，薬物の期待される効果をICUで発揮させるために必要な，注射剤，吸入剤，内服剤の簡易懸濁液，体外循環に関する5つのtipsを示した。

Injected and suspended drugs may interact not only with other drugs but also with medical materials. Interactions can result in attenuation or enhancement of the original bioavailability and pharmacological action with changes in the pharmacokinetics. This paper presents five tips to insure that drugs given to patients in the ICU have their expected effects.
