Traditional approaches to Higher Education (HE) does not truly capture meaningful organisational and personal learning, as it does not easily identify knowledge required for and generated from practice. Work-based learning (WBL) works with organisations, the University and the learner in order to create new learning opportunities in the work place.
Middlesex University (MU) has pioneered the development of WBL at HE level within the United Kingdom since the early 1990's and provides educational provision from foundation degrees through to Professional Doctorate level.
