骨粗鬆症では骨折が重要であり，骨折リスクを評価することが肝要である．そのために適切な検査，すなわちX線，骨密度測定，骨代謝マーカー，関連の検査を行い，評価することが重要である．
Osteoporosis is characterized with low bone mass and deterioration of the bone. In patients with osteoporosis, it is important to evaluate fracture risk. Several examinations : Xray, BMD measurement, blood and urine analysis, bone turnover markers and other indices should be checked for diagnosis and measurement of bone metabolic status.
