抗リン脂質抗体症候群(APS)は，自己免疫血栓症あるいは妊娠合併症である．APS患者の半数は全身性エリテマトーデス(SLE)に合併し，APSを定義する抗リン脂質抗体はSLEの分類基準の項目にも採択されていて，APSはSLEの類縁疾患である．本邦でのAPSの診断には，凝固検査であるループスアンチコアグラントと免疫検査である(β2-グリコプロテインⅠ依存性)抗カルジオリピン抗体が用いられている．近年は抗β2-グリコプロテインⅠ抗体や，ホスファチジルセリン依存性抗プロトロンビン抗体も本邦の臨床検査に導入されつつある．

Antiphospholipid syndrome is an autoimmune disease in which recurrent vascular thrombosis and/or pregnancy morbidity is associated with persistently positive antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL).　Evidence shows that the dominant antigenic targets for aPL in APS are phospholipid (PL)-binding plasma proteins such as 2glycoprotein I and prothrombin.　In daily practice, aPL play a role as markers of APS.　However, the determination of aPL is not easy due to their heterogeneity.　It is recommended to test aPL as a combination of ELISAs and clotting assays.
